💡 We have to be prepared for change.

Decide to take a chance.

A shepherd always takes his chances with wolves and with drought, and that’s what makes a shepherd’s life exciting.

1. When someone sees the same people every day, they wind up becoming a part of that person’s life.
2. And they want the person to change.
3. If someone isn’t what others want them to be, the others become angry.
4. Everyone seems to have a clear idea of how other people should lead their lives, but none about his or her own.
5. At a certain point in our lives, we lose control of what’s happening to us, and our lives become controlled by fate. That is the world’s greatest lie.

Personal Legend = what you have always wanted to accomplish. Everyone, when they are young, knows what their Personal Legend is.

At that point in their lives, everything is clear and everything is possible. They are not afraid to dream and yearn for everything they would like to see happen to them in their lives. But, as time passes, a mysterious force begins to convince them that it will be impossible for them to realize their Personal Legend.

“mysterious force” = A force that appears to be negative, but actually shows you how to realize your Personal Legend. It prepares your spirit and your will because there is one great truth on this planet: whoever you are, or whatever it is that you do when you really want something, it’s because that desire originated in the soul of the universe. It’s your mission on earth.

In the long run, what people think about shepherds and bakers becomes more important for them than their own Personal Legends.

💡 If you start out by promising what you don’t even have yet, you’ll lose your desire to work toward getting it.

There is a force that wants you to realize your Personal Legend; it whets your appetite with a taste of success.

In order to find your treasure, you will have to follow the omens. God has prepared a path for everyone to follow. You just have to read the omens that he left for you.

When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.

💡 You must always know what it is that you want.

💡 Never stop dreaming. Follow the omens.

People need not fear the unknown if they are capable of achieving what they need and want.

People are afraid to pursue their most important dreams because they feel that they don’t deserve them, or that they’ll be unable to achieve them.

Most people see the world as a threatening place, and, because they do, the world turns out, indeed, to be a threatening place.

1. Before a dream is realized, the Soul of the World tests everything that was learned along the way.
2. It does this not because it is evil, but so that we can, in addition to realizing our dreams, master the lessons we’ve learned as we’re moved toward that dream.
3. That’s the point at which most people give up.
4. It’s the point at which, one ‘dies of thirst just when the palm trees have appeared on the horizon’.
5. The darkest hour of the night is just before the dawn.
